Meet the Founder, Director & Chief Creator


Hi, I’m Claudia... Founder, Director & Chief Creator of Delight in me Designs.

I truly believe wedding planning can feel joyful, meaningful and beautifully simple.

I started Delight in me Designs in 2017, when I was on maternity leave with my first daughter. I began making personalised gifts for children, to keep my mind busy (in different ways) and to channel my entrepreneurial spirit.

At the same time, my sister, aka The Late Night Baker, was launching her cake business and needed custom cake toppers. I tried, tested and failed, many times, before figuring out how to best make them. Somewhere between cake toppers and collaborations, I discovered what I truly loved… working alongside couples to help bring their weddings to life.

Today, from my home studio in Sydney, Australia, I specialise in personalised signage, wedding and event favours and thoughtful details that reflect your story, your style, your celebration.

Where It All Began

Celebrations have always been central to my life. Growing up, every birthday, milestone and achievement was marked. My mum lead the charge and my dad provided the all-important support. As a family, we would all do our part to gather, prepare, cook and host to make these moments meaningful. I grew up understanding that celebrations nurture relationships. They strengthen bonds. They create core memories that last far beyond the day itself. As a Mum of three now, I have carried this on with my own family.

I was also raised by an incredible example of female entrepreneurship. My mum ran two direct-selling businesses throughout my childhood; first with Learner’s World (an educational children’s game and toy company), and later with Creative Memories, where she built a thriving scrapbooking business and earned national incentives and recognition. This was at a time when despite having legal rights on paper, women were still having to fight to make those rights a reality in their everyday lives. From the end of the 80s and throughout the 90s, my mum was building something of her own. Watching that and being a part of it in all the ways I could, shaped me more than I could have realised at the time.

Delight in me Designs is my way of carrying that legacy forward, through connection, creativity and celebration, whilst also showing my three daughters that it’s possible to design a life and business on your own terms. My hope is that this work grows into something that not only celebrates love stories and other milestones, but also supports, encourages and empowers girls and women to believe in themselves and pursue their own dreams.

What I Do

To me, a wedding is more than a beautiful day. It’s a declaration. A moment where you stand in front of the people you hold most dear and say: This is us, this is our commitment, this connection matters.

Every piece I create is designed with that in mind. Not just to look beautiful on the day, but to strengthen connection.

I see wedding favours much like the birthday and anniversary cards I love to write. They’re a small, but intentional gesture that says: You matter to me, you matter to us. A tangible reminder of the bond you share and the people you chose to stand beside you, as you make your commitment to one another. A keepsake that quietly says: We’re so grateful you’re part of our story.

Since 2017, I’ve had the honour of contributing to hundreds of weddings. Through Personalised Favours alone, my work has found its way into thousands of homes across Australia and beyond.

I’ve also collaborated with incredible like-minded businesses for years, from bakers, to event planners, party and even home décor businesses.

Before launching Delight in me Designs, my background was in marketing and advertising, managing creative campaigns, timelines, design teams and clients. That experience shaped how I run my business today. I pride myself on adding value beyond your product order, whether it be supporting with advice on timings (including RSVP dates), signage necessities, versus nice-to-haves, run-sheet tips, or colour scheming and styling ideas. My Approach (and why couples say it feels easy)

When you work with me, you’re working directly with a real human, not a template system, or a mass-production warehouse.

Along with a small team of contractors I call on as needed, I personally design, create and carefully finish every single piece. Each order is packed by me and I simply can’t let them go out the door without a handwritten note. Because connection matters. Not just between you and your guests, but between you and the people you choose to work with.

My goal is simple… to make this part of your planning (what I consider to be the fun bits and pieces that add so much personality and YOU into your day), feel calm, organised and genuinely enjoyable.

A Few Extra Things About Me

  • I’m a mum of three, and this business allows me to build work (that I love) around my family, not the other way around. I designed it that way.
  • My husband is my greatest supporter (and unofficial bookkeeper, financial advisor, logistics manager, sounding board… the list goes on).
  • I care deeply about what I do and nurturing strong relationships. From customers, as well as their friends and relatives (who I often have the privilege of meeting), through to collaboration partners, suppliers, and contractors. The people I’ve met along the journey are truly the true cherry on top and something I did not foresee when starting this adventure. The people I come to meet through my beloved business are all such beautiful people!
  • I have an almost obsessive attention to detail (in the best possible way)!
  • I still do a little happy dance every time I’m chosen to be part of someone’s celebration.
